Full Description of Vacancy:
An opportunity has arisen for a specialist Recruitment Apprentice to work at a successful financial recruitment agency based in Bristol. This role is an integral part of the business, will be varied and you will gain an understanding of the accountancy sector.  You will also have the opportunity to improve and develop your communication skills.  As a growing business you will also have the opportunity to input new ideas and make a real difference to people’s lives through your part in the process of finding people a new job.  
 
Duties will include:
Recruitment:
Daily management of the applicant journey by:
  • Completing 1st screen telephone calls with potential candidates
  • Maintaining Excel spreadsheet with tracked applicants
  • Arranging face to face interviews 
  • Amending / Producing CVs for clients
  • Cleansing of applicants data and maintenance of CRM database
  • Reference checking of candidates 
  • Build an applicant talent pool for future vacancies
  • Applicant searches and job advertising 
  • CV Sifting on job websites.
Marketing and Business Development:
  • Assist with drafting monthly blogs
  • Assist with preparing case studies for marketing purposes
  • Research potential clients online and through LinkedIn
  • Where possible, attend networking events.
Other:
  • Administration support as and when required
  • Understand and clearly explain the service and answer applicant and customer questions competently and accurately
Person Specification:
  • Previous admin and office experience
  • Previous accountancy experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • A structured and organised approach to fulfilling work commitments
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Highly motivated/hard working
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Possess good analytical/assessment skills
  • Ability to write clearly, accurately and concisely
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel
Qualifications required:
5 GCSEs at Grades A*- C (grades 5 to 9) including English Language and Maths or equivalent
 
30 hours per week
Monday to Friday – Flexible working hours 
 
£5.50 per hour
