An excellent opportunity to join the administration team within a growing private medical secretarial and practice management business. This varied role will involve many tasks associated with medical administrative duties.

Key responsibilities:

Provide support in day to day running of the office, including:

  • Answering phone calls and email enquiries from clients and patients
  • Handling enquiries, taking, and passing on detailed messages
  • Contact patients as required by Medical personal assistants
  • Support personal assistants with administrative duties and tasks
  • Monitor email inboxes regularly and ensure that emails are responded to in a timely manner
  • Prepare and send annual recall appointments to patients
  • Carry out last minute checks ahead of scheduled patient appointments
  • Communicate with people at all levels when required
  • Write and distribute email correspondence, letters and forms as required

Abilities/Experience

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally– both in writing and verbally together with an excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills as well as being able to prioritise certain tasks over others
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a small team and be a team player
  • Confident, positive, outlook with a can-do attitude
  • High energy initiative and motivated to succeed and learn
  • Self-starter

All staff are required to be flexible in their approach and willingness to get involved where necessary.

Qualifications required:
GCSE Grades 4 to 9 (A*- C) in Maths and English plus 2 other GCSEs grades 3 to 9 (A* to D) in any other subject or equivalent

40 hours per week
9am to 6pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch

£7.00 per hour
