Apprentice Production Operative – J3172- Yeovil

The apprentice will be working within a factory in Yeovil, learning how to manufacture premium quality leather.
A unique opportunity to learn practical manufacturing skills.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
You will learn to operate a variety of machines used in the manufacturing of finished leather.
You will undertake these main duties (individually or as part of a team):
- Machinery setup and adjustment before production begins
- Carry out mechanical processes
- Carry out quality checks and measurements
Skills Required:
Applicants need to be dexterous and well-applied individuals and be able to demonstrate the necessary attributes to work in a manufacturing environment.

- Ability to achieve the quality standard required
- Work to deadlines
- Good attention to detail
- Have good dexterity skills
- Able to use hand tools

Qualifications Required:
GCSEs or equivalent grades 4 to 9 (A* to C) in Maths and English Language
39.5 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm and 8am to 4pm on a Friday with ½ hour unpaid lunch each day
£197.50 per week
