Excellent opportunity to join a long established family run fire and security business in Fishponds. The role is supporting the company within a Business Administration role and will involve working towards a Level 2 Business and Administration qualification.

Provide support in day to day running of office, including:

  • Handling incoming telephone calls taking messages as required
  • Greeting visitors and handling deliveries
  • Maintaining the signing in sheet and telephone list
  • Provide administrative support to engineers by booking appointments, collating appointment information and diary management
  • Maintain reception area
  • Keep all office rooms in a neat and tidy order
  • Franking post and maintaining franking machine & printer supplies
  • Assist Administration team with administration projects including printing and preparing documents when required
  • Provide general admin support as and when required
  • Support Finance Administrator as required

  • Excellent Communication Skills – Be able to communicate in writing and verbally clearly and confidently
  • Teamwork – Work confidently within a group or independently as part of a larger team
  • Initiative & Self-Motivation – Able to act on initiative, identify opportunities & proactive in putting forward ideas and solutions
  • Drive – Determination to get things done, make things happen and constantly looking for better ways of doing things

Qualifications required:
GCSE’s at grades 9 to 4 (A*- C) or equivalent to include Maths and English

40 Hours per week
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm with ½ hour for lunch

£4.50 per hour
