This Cheltenham based company is a UK market leader in Healthcare training specialising in medical and clinical, mental health, health and social care and learning disability training courses, delivering to national businesses and organisations, including both public and private sector bodies.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is prepared to start in this role and grow with the organisation to take on further responsibility in time.

The successful candidate will handle the administration to support the comprehensive range of courses delivered by trainers every month. This includes organising and compiling of course packs and the administration of outgoing and incoming course paperwork. The candidate will work closely with the Director to perform this key role and will also answer the telephone to clients and field queries accordingly.

Key responsibilities:

  • Organise course packs and administration of course paperwork
  • Support is key both at the start of a course and also the post course administration
  • Prepare documents and update using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Deal professionally, promptly and courteously with customer enquiries over the telephone and email
  • Gain an understanding of the courses available to be able to provide information over the phone

Personal Qualities:

  • Be highly organised, accurate and precise with excellent attention to detail with proven organisational skills and (preferably some) office experience
  • Have a mature, sensible, can do and proactive attitude
  • Be a quick learner and be able to work in a busy office
  • Have proficient computer skills, especially in word and Excel
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent listening and communication skills, follow and maintain specified structured processes and have excellent client communication and interpersonal skills on the telephone with colleagues, clients and trainers
  • Demonstrate a high standard of professionalism
  • Be able to listen, understand, learn and complete tasks precisely and accurately
  • Be comfortable with medical subjects including Mental Health

Qualifications Required
3 GCSE’s at grades 9 to 4 (A*to C) or equivalent to include Maths and English

35 hours per week
8.30am to 5pm Monday
Tuesday to Thursday – 9 to 5 and Friday 9am to 4.30pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch

Location is in Cheltenham Town Centre and please be aware there is no staff parking

£6.50 per hour
