A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an apprentice to join a multi-award winning, family run business based in the heart of Gloucester, which specialises in ‘off the shelf’ and bespoke tracking
solutions. Working within the IT team this role offers a fantastic opportunity for those with a passion for IT, who want to develop and gain a career within a growing business.

The role will include:

  • Being the first point of contact for external customers or clients
  • Providing technical support in relation to IT and software systems
  • Setting up and testing tracking units
  • Troubleshooting based on client queries
  • Developing business knowledge and understanding the software used
  • Explaining use of systems to clients and responding to enquiries in a fast an efficient manner
  • Creating video tutorials for customers
  • Support with the company website and social media platforms

Candidates will:

  • Be computer literate to a good standard
  • Need to be able to follow and take instruction
  • Professional attitude towards work
  • Have a genuine passion for IT and software
  • Organised and responsive, using initiative and motivation to deal with enquiries
  • Strong communicators, both internally and externally
  • Reliable and enthusiastic when approaching all tasks

Qualifications required:
5 GCSE Grades 5 to 9 (A* to C) or equivalent including Maths, IT and English

30 hours per week
Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch

£5.00 per hour
