March Apprentice of the Month is Amy Ruck
Amy is completing her Business and Administration qualification with Gloucestershire College as part of a shared apprenticeship scheme with the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley Tourism association.
Amy’s learner account manager Shelley King had this to say:
‘Her apprenticeship involves Amy being very involved with local Forest events and working across a varied number of sites and roles. The diversity of the apprenticeship suits Amy down to the ground as it keeps her focused, she meets a variety of different people every day and this is helping tremendously with her confidence. She recently performed a presentation for the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley Forum the event was held in a large theatre with nearly 100 pairs of eyes looking at the stage. However despite some nerves before getting on the stage Amy absolutely smashed it! She spoke clearly and articulately and absolutely got the biggest applause of the day.’
Congratulations and keep up the hard work Amy!
