Apprentice of the month is…
Ava Read
We are delighted to announce Ava as SWAC’s February Apprentice of the Month.
Ava is hosted by City of Bristol College at their SBSA Campus in Hengrove Park. She is currently studying towards a Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship which is delivered by City of Bristol College.
Ava works as a part of the Curriculum Administration Team to deliver an efficient, effective and standardised level of cross college curriculum administration support for Heads of Department.
Recently, Ava has helped plan a Bali and Thailand trip for the students, she had to gather all of the required details and present to the teachers who will be picking the students for the trip. She had to collate over 300 student applications.
Ava’s Line Manager, Lottie had this to say “Ava has been an outstanding member of the team and has shown remarkable growth in confidence, ability, and professionalism. She approaches every task with exceptional efficiency and brings positivity to the team each day. Her hard work has been clearly evident, particularly in her dedication to successfully passing her maths functional skills exam recently.
Ava is always eager to support others and has recently taken the initiative to help train new team members, demonstrating excellent teamwork and leadership potential. She has been a fantastic asset to the team, and we are incredibly proud of how hard she has worked and how far she has come. Her determination and resilience have been key to her success”
Her Assessor also shared that Ava has been impressing with her commitment to getting ready for her End Point Assessment (EPA) “Ava is up to date with her off the job hours and currently has her project to complete but is on track to complete her EPA soon”.
