🌟 July Apprentice of the Month: Sofia Karaivanova
We are delighted to announce Sofia as SWAC’s July Apprentice of the Month.
Sofia is hosted by Xylem Water Solutions Ltd in Nottingham. Sofia is studying towards an Accountancy or Taxation Professional level 7 apprenticeship. Her training is being delivered by First Intuition.
Sofia is involved in core financial reporting and regulatory compliance working on cash flow, reconciliations, and transaction processing. She also supports budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Her line manager Annika had this to say about Sofia “Sofia has settled into her apprenticeship extremely well and has quickly found a strong balance between her work responsibilities and her studies. She is performing exceptionally in her exams, and I am very proud of the progress she continues to make.
She is engaging proactively with the business and has done a great job building her network across Xylem. Sofia’s confidence has grown significantly since she first started, which is reflected in how she approaches her role and interacts with colleagues.
Overall, Sofia has excelled in her current position, and at this stage there are no specific development areas to highlight. I am excited to see her continue to develop and progress within the business.”
Her assessor, Roz also had nothing but praise for Sofia “I am delighted that Sofia has been chosen as SWAC’s Apprentice of the Month for July ’26!
Sofia is a highly engaged apprentice, who has already passed her first three ACCA exams.
Sofia is on target in every respect: her thoroughness in completing her apprenticeship tasks is exemplary.
I look forward to seeing where Sofia’s studies will lead and wish her every success for the future.”
