🌟 August Apprentice of the Month: Ethan Duffy
We are delighted to announce Ethan as SWAC’s August Apprentice of the Month.
Ethan is hosted by Xylem Water Solutions Ltd in North Yorkshire. Ethan is studying towards an Electrical Installation level 3 apprenticeship. His training is being delivered by Education Training Collective.
Ethan began his Apprenticeship in 2022 and will soon complete and be fully qualified. Ethan will be employed by Xylem as a fully qualified Electrician within the company and progress onto more complex equipment and Installations.
Ethan is part of the Service Team involved in installing ,maintaining and servicing waste water pumping stations and treatment plants .This includes following robust Health and Safety policies, keeping himself and work Colleagues safe.
Ethan’s Line Manager, Marc said “”I’m looking forward to seeing Ethan progress into a qualified Electrical Technician. His commitment and positive attitude give him every opportunity for a bright and successful future.”
His assessor, Alan had this to share about Ethan
“Ethan has now completed all of his theoretical and technical qualifications here at college as well as completing his work-based portfolio, this is a real achievement and has required a huge amount of effort and dedication, and that’s not just from Ethan but also the guys he has been working with, those who have been mentoring him, showing him the way forward. He will soon be taking his final assessment (AM2s) after which he will be fully qualified and that in turn is a career for the future. Well done, Ethan!”
