Erin completed her Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship at Bristol Law Centre and her qualification with City of Bristol College and has now secured a full-time position with them as an Immigration Paralegal.
Erin explained why she enjoyed her apprenticeship and how her apprenticeship has helped her within her current job role
“My apprenticeship has been a brilliant experience. Within this last year I have gained various new skills that will stay with me throughout my professional working life.
Following my apprenticeship at the Bristol Law Centre I have manged to secure a position within the Immigration Team as a Paralegal and have also enrolled onto a part time law degree. I am confident that the apprenticeship has made this possible and I’m so grateful for having had this opportunity.”
Erin would definitely recommend SWAC and apprenticeships
“Apprenticeships are a great way to experience a variety of roles within an organisation. As an apprentice, you are working in a professional environment but are fully supported by your organisation, SWAC and your supervisor. This allows you to thrive and develop your skills in a safe environment.
The SWAC team provided exceptional pastoral support throughout my apprenticeship and made the necessary adjustments for my dyslexia.
I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone to consider an apprenticeship regardless of age, experience or ability. I was 23 when I started my apprenticeship, I had already obtained a degree but wanted a career change. This opportunity has opened up various doors for me and I am excited about what the future holds and I owe this to SWAC and the Bristol Law Centre.”
